The teenager is well prepared for the examination. But then, when when he wants to answer the questions, he is unable to cope with the tension during exam. Hence,it makes him feel distressed and his mind unable to focus and unable to answer the question paper.

The same old question the parents ask the teenager is due to the lack of knowledge of the parents about the teenager's life. Perhaps the teenager is having a hard day, some misunderstandings occurred between him and teachers,friends or his girlfriend.
